Become a True Cycling Star! 🚴
Join us at Mini Cyclers and discover how fun it is to become a real little cycling champion! Together with Benny the Bike Buff and Sally Spinwheel, BOENK!’s two cycling pros, we’ll learn all about life on two wheels. They’ll show us why cycling is so much fun and, most importantly, how to do it safely.
We’ll practice:
Slowing down and braking on time
Paying attention to other cyclists and pedestrians
Avoiding obstacles
Staying focused on the road
All of this happens in a safe environment: not on public streets, but on the school playground. There, we draw our own traffic course with streets, intersections, and zebra crossings, so children can learn traffic rules through play.
Every day includes an extended cycling practice session. Whether your preschooler rides a balance bike, a kid’s bike with or without training wheels – it’s all welcome! We adapt to each child’s level and help them become stronger and more confident on their bike, step by step.
Fun Beyond Cycling
There’s also time for games and creativity! We’ll craft decorations for our bikes, play an exciting relay race, and go on a treasure hunt. At the end of the week, every child receives their Mini Cycler diploma, awarded by Benny and Sally!
Practical Information
BOENK! does not provide bikes. Please bring your child’s own bike, preferably one they are already comfortable with.
Bring a helmet from home.
Bikes can stay at camp or go home daily.
After a morning full of action, there’s a rest period after lunch. Preschoolers can take a nap in the quiet corner or read a book.
A camp full of movement, fun, and confidence – sign up your little one now and let them shine as a Mini Cycler!
In which language is the camp held?
The main language at camp is English. The counselors also speak Dutch, but they will use English as much as possible when guiding the children. This way, we offer a natural English immersion, focusing on playing together while being gently exposed to the language.
It is not required for children to speak English – the counselors can assist in Dutch whenever needed. Children who speak neither Dutch nor English are also warmly welcome. At this camp, the universal language of play is what truly brings everyone together.
